Can somebody help me, please? I've been trying to connect my external hard disk to my PC but apparently this message came out.
A little update:
When I googled "usb device not recognized", I found this (although I had a bad time understanding French) and I opted for Response No 3.
So I loaded the motherboard main chipset drivers when......
...then the external HDD was NOT DETECTED AT ALL. No error bubble, no nothing. So the next step is to check the voltage in BIOS which I don't have any idea on how to do it.
